At the end of 2023, Peace UCC opened its first sensory room. This project was spearheaded by one of our young families with a passion for youth ministry and meeting the needs of all children. The room can be used during office hours throughout the week, Tuesday through Friday, 9:00-2:00 or on Sunday mornings during worship!

Equipment and Toys

The room has a variety of equipment, toys, and craft supplies to meet the needs of neurodivergent children and adults that anyone can enjoy! Equipment includes a crash pad, sensory swing, pea pod, and small trampoline. Toys include a variety of fidget gadgets, art supplies, books, blocks, and more! The whole room also underwent a deep clean prior to opening so all the items have been disinfected and are ready to safely be used.

If you plan to utilize this room, we do request that you either fill out a paper copy of this form (provided in the room) or complete this online form for our church records. It helps our staff know what to do and who to contact in case of emergencies.
